Hosting: A Dual Mobility Experience from Trujillo, Spain

As part of an Erasmus+ mobility, IES Turgalium from Trujillo, Spain, carried out a dual experience in Foligno between March 30 and June 14, 2025. They combined a long-term student internship with a short-term teacher job shadowing.

One student, Beatrice, completed her internship at the LARES Italia headquarters, located in the heart of Foligno. Over two and a half months, she supported the administration department, gaining practical experience in office management and learning about the inner workings of an Italian organisation. During her weekends, she had the chance to reconnect with family living nearby, adding a personal touch to her Italian adventure.

From April 1 to April 4, 2025, two teachers from IES Turgalium joined Confartigianato Foligno for a job shadowing experience. Over the course of the week, they explored the Italian work culture and learned about the tax system. They even conducted interviews with local employees to enrich their school’s vocational training resources back home.

This combined mobility highlights the power of Erasmus+ to foster both student learning and teacher development, strengthening the bridge between education and professional environments across Europe.
