From June 22 to 28, 2025, a group of 19 teachers from Greece took part in a professional mobility experience in Foligno, organised by AKETH and hosted by EGInA.
Throughout the week, the participants were introduced to the Italian educational system, with a particular focus on vocational education and training. Through presentations, discussions and study visits, they explored how schools and institutions in Italy approach teaching and student support.
A key part of the program was a detailed presentation of the various EU-funded projects in which EGInA is involved. These initiatives span areas such as digital skills, inclusive education, sustainability and innovation in teaching methods. It offered inspiration and potential for future collaboration.
The group also visited Ellelle Cooperativa, a local social enterprise working in the field of education and social inclusion. The visit provided concrete examples of how Italian organizations support vulnerable groups through integrated services that combine care, education and community development.
This mobility experience offered the Greek teachers not only new perspectives on education but also opportunities to exchange ideas and build connections for future European partnerships.
