From May 25 to June 26, 2025, four students from La Croix Rouge in Brest, France, spent one month in Foligno as part of an Erasmus+ internship mobility focused on the sales sector.
The four girls were welcomed by local shops across the city, where they had the chance to put their classroom knowledge into practice and gain first-hand insight into the Italian world of retail. From customer service to merchandising, they explored the daily routines and challenges of the profession — all while adapting to a new cultural environment.
Outside of their internships, the students took every opportunity to immerse themselves in the Italian lifestyle, enjoying the local cuisine, discovering the beauty of Umbria and practicing their Italian with locals.
This short but intense experience gave them both professional growth and a deeper appreciation for cultural exchange — a true taste of European mobility.
