Our annual C.R.E.A. Cultura festival took place from 18 to 20 March 2026 at Palazzo Brunetti Candiotti. Each edition of the festival offers participants the opportunity to explore new technologies and cultural heritage in an engaging and creative environment.
Over three days, participants enjoyed a rich programme of events, exhibitions, workshops, artistic performances, and interactive activities. We welcomed hundreds of attendees from Italy as well as from abroad. Several student mobility groups joined us from Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland, and Spain, all taking part in the C.R.E.A. Cultura experience.
During the week, they participated in the Digital Creativity Lab – Europeana, where they used stop-motion techniques to create short stories combining technology and art. The winning teamof the Digital Creativity Lab was from Hungary, Gárdonyi Géza Ciszterci Gimnázium és Kollégium. We look forward to welcoming them again in July for SHU 2026 (Social Hackathon Umbria) !
In addition to the festival, participants were invited to act as the Social Jury for the ENNEPlus Eco-Digithon. This second edition of the competition, organised by ENNEPlus and EGInA, provided students and teachers with the opportunity to collaborate and develop innovative solutions focused on sustainability. They reviewed and evaluated the 13 projects presented by the Eco-Digithon teams, and gave the Social Jury price to students from Napoli who had created musical instruments from recycled products.
These types of experiences foster meaningful exchanges between students from different countries and cultural backgrounds, encouraging them to meet new people and broaden their perspectives.
Following the event, the Spanish mobility group took part in a one-week internship at EGInA, where they gained insight into the organisation’s work and experienced a professional environment firsthand.
This type of mobility highlights the importance of European projects in strengthening cooperation between countries, while also creating lasting friendships and international networks.
