From 18 May to 24 May 2026, a group of Italian senior students took part in an Erasmus+ mobility programme in Latvia focused on cultural heritage, lifelong learning, and social participation.
During the week, participants visited the Turaida Museum Reserve, where they attended educational activities, guided tours, and presentations led by local museum educators and historians. The programme allowed them to discover Latvian history, traditions, and cultural heritage through interactive experiences and group discussions.
The participants also explored several important cultural and natural sites in the Sigulda region, including Turaida Castle, the Krimulda Church, the Gลซtmanis Cave, and the Gauja National Park area. In addition, they visited local cultural centres, museums, and the Sigulda city fair, experiencing Latvian traditions and everyday life.
This mobility offered participants the opportunity to combine learning, cultural exchange, and social interaction in an international environment.
