On 8 June 2026, 5 Italian students left for Dungarvan, Ireland for a three-month internship exprience. They were accompanied for one week by one of our transnational mobility officer, Giulio. During their frst week, they discovered the city through different visits and prepared themself for their work experience.
During the mobility period, students will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in real working environments, allowing them to engage directly with the professional world and understand how different sectors operate.
Throughout the experience, they will become familiar with local workplace culture, safety regulations, and professional practices while developing key transferable skills such as teamwork, communication, autonomy, and problem-solving.
Beyond the internship activities, students will also explore the local area and cultural heritage through visits and social experiences. This combination of professional and cultural immersion will strengthen their intercultural awareness, adaptability, and openness to new social and cultural environments, while supporting their personal growth and helping guide future educational and career choices.
They will be returning in September 2026, after spendind three moths discovering the Irish work environment. We wish them all the best for this unique experience!
