In November 2025, Gabriele, Transnational Mobility Coordinator at EGInA, together with representatives of other European organisations from the EfVET network, took part in a week-long study visit to Taiwan. The mobility started with a visit to the Taipei City Department of Education, where participants also met the Ministry of Education, officially launching their job-shadowing experience in Taipei.
During the week, the group had the opportunity to visit several schools across the city:
- Taipei Municipal Youngchun Senior High School
- Taipei Municipal Nangang Vocational High School
- Heping Experimental Elementary School
- Kai Ping Culinary School
- Taipei Municipal Muzha Vocational High School
- Taipei Municipal Nei-Hu Vocational High School
The activity was organised within the framework of the ENNE VET accreditation and allowed participants to better understand how vocational education and training is structured in Taiwan. It also provided a valuable opportunity to exchange practices, build new international connections, and strengthen cooperation among organisations working in the VET sector.
In addition to the educational visits, participants also had the chance to explore the cultural heritage of Taipei. They visited important landmarks such as Taipei 101, Longshan Temple, the National Palace Museum, and Shilin Night Market, as well as well-known streets like Huaxi Street and Dihua Street. They also experienced a traditional Lion Dance performance, gaining further insight into local culture.
Overall, the study visit represented an enriching professional and cultural experience, contributing to the development of new ideas and future collaborations at international level.ย
