From 14 to 20 June 2026, a group of senior students from Sardinia, Italy, travelled to Barcelona, Spain, with one of our mobility officer, Roberto. During the week, they discovered the work of Fundesplai (Fundació Catalana de l’Esplai).
Fundesplai is an NGO active in the fields of education, international mobility, social inclusion and sustainability. The organisation is involved in Erasmus+ programmes and works with local and European partners through international projects focusing on mobility, innovation in education and youth participation.
Throughout the week, the students took part in different workshops. They started by discovering a local podcast that promotes active citizenship and digital communication. They also learned more about the use of smartphones for digital communication.

In addition, the week was an opportunity to learn about local wildlife conservation through visits, including one to the Llobregat Delta River.
On their final day, they enjoyed the local heritage through several visits, including the world-famous church, La Sagrada Família. Using the pictures and videos they had taken, they then attended one final workshop dedicated to creating digital content.
