PARTICIPATE AT THE INTERNATIONAL EXPO OF SCHOOL PROJECTS IN THE FIELD OF ARTS AND CULTURAL HERITAGE

C.R.E.A. CULTURA

CREA CULTURA, the festival of good practices of Work Based Learning in the artistic-cultural field, takes place every Spring in to Foligno (Italy). Two days of exhibition in which it will be possible to get in touch with public and private institutions and organizations that have been able to co-design courses for the development of students’ skills in the field of safeguarding and enhancing the tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

CONTEXT

Stands, workshops and thematic focuses to discover how to exploit digital innovations in favor of the most important heritage of our territory, art and culture, in order to guide the new generations towards new professions and careers of digital cultures, in line with the priorities of the Erasmus + program.
Presenting your project at CREA CULTURA is completely free! Participation is open to Primary and Secondary Education Institutes and / or organizations that have hosted students for internships, cooperative work or innovation and research projects in the artistic-cultural field.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

STAND IN THE EXHIBITION
By participating in CREA CULTURA, it will be possible to take advantage of an exhibition stand inside Palazzo Piermarini, one of the most famous buildings in the historic centre of Foligno, in central Italy.

ORGANIZATION OF SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS
During the two days of the event, each exhibitor will have the opportunity to organize workshops, practical laboratories and other activities for the presentation of the results obtained through their own Work-Based Learning projects or other relevant activities.

PROGRAMME

All international groups of students are invited to join a one-week long programme that includes the participation at the EXPO, visits to different local schools and a very rich cultural programme.

ONE WEEK

DAY 1 – Sunday

Arrival and Welcome.

DAY 2 – Monday

Presentation of the CRHACK LAB FOLIGNO 4D and the projects for the valorization of cultural heritage. Treasure hunt in AR to discover the historical city centre of Foligno and the Quintana Festival.

DAY 3 – Tuesday

VR experience at the Montefalco Museum and tour of the medieval villages of the Umbrian countryside. Visit the ancient workshops of the Gaite in Bevagna.

DAY 4 – Wednesday

Setting up the stands and preparation of the workshops for the exhibition.

DAYS 5&6 – Thursday & Friday

 Participation at the CREA Cultura exhibition.

DAY 7 – Saturday

 Excursion in Assisi, the hometown of Saint Francis, and Perugia.

DAY 8 – Sunday

Departure of participants.
