From 29 May to 29 June 2026, eight Italian students were in Valletta, Malta, completing internship placements. For one month, they discovered a new working environment in a different cultural setting and experienced daily life in an international context. Each student had a unique experience across different professional sectors. They were placed in childcare, education, hospitality, housing and healthcare organisations, where they had the opportunity to observe professionals and take part in everyday activities

From 14 to 20 June 2026, a group of senior students from Sardinia, Italy, travelled to Barcelona, Spain, with one of our mobility officer, Roberto. During the week, they discovered the work of Fundesplai (Fundació Catalana de l’Esplai). Fundesplai is an NGO active in the fields of education, international mobility, social inclusion and sustainability. From 11 to 18 June 2026, two of our transnational mobility officers, Diletta and Jia, accompanied a group of 29 senior learners from Italy to discover the Zagori Ecomuseum in Greece. During this one-week mobility, participants explored the work of the Greek organisation dedicated to promoting natural, cultural, and sustainable tourism in the mountainous region of Zagori, an area recognised as part of UNESCO World Heritage. On 8 June 2026, 5 Italian students left for Dungarvan, Ireland for a three-month internship exprience. They were accompanied for one week by one of our transnational mobility officer, Giulio. During their frst week, they discovered the city through different visits and prepared themself for their work experience. From December 2025 to May 2026, Lucia completed her internship at EGInA as part of the Sending Mobility Department. During these six months, she contributed her skills and competencies while supporting EGInA in its daily activities. After obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and International Relations, Lucia joined EGInA to gain practical experience and learn more about organisations working at the European level. Meet our Belgian interns Mauro and Roman, and discover their experience at EGInA within CrHackLab! Both students at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences in Belgium, Mauro and Roman are pursuing different study paths. From 15 to 23 May, teachers and learners from CPIA Lecco “Fabrizio De André”,CPIA 1 Cagliari, CPIA Campobasso “Maestro Alberto Manzi” and CPIA Trapani took part in an Erasmus+ KA1 mobility in Teruel, Spain, hosted by the Centro de Profesorado Ángel Sanz Briz as part of the EDA’n’EDA project. As part of the Erasmus+ short-term mobility programme, a group of students participated in an international professional experience in Berlin, Germany, from April 16th to May 17th, 2026. This project, called I-MEET – International Mobility Experience for e-tourism, offered participants the opportunity to develop both professional and personal skills in an international environment. From 18 May to 24 May 2026, a group of Italian senior students took part in an Erasmus+ mobility programme in Latvia focused on cultural heritage, lifelong learning, and social participation. During the week, participants visited the Turaida Museum Reserve, where they attended educational activities, guided tours, and presentations led by local museum educators and historians. The programme allowed them to discover Latvian history, traditions, and cultural heritage through interactive experiences and group discussions.
