From 29 May to 29 June 2026, eight Italian students were in Valletta, Malta, completing internship placements. For one month, they discovered a new working environment in a different cultural setting and experienced daily life in an international context.
Each student had a unique experience across different professional sectors. They were placed in childcare, education, hospitality, housing and healthcare organisations, where they had the opportunity to observe professionals and take part in everyday activities related to their field.
Throughout the month, the students developed both professional and personal skills. They improved their communication abilities, adapted to new working methods and strengthened their autonomy and confidence. Working and living abroad also allowed them to improve their English language skills and gain a better understanding of another culture.
For all of them, this internship was an enriching experience and an important step in their personal and professional development.
