From 19 September to 10 October, eight students from META – Don Bosco Technikum és Szakgimnázium in Budapest, Hungary, participated in an internship programme in Italy. Specialising in administration and accounting, the students gained hands-on experience in professional environments that helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application.
Through these responsibilities, the students were able to apply what they had learned in their studies, gaining deeper insights into real-world financial and organisational processes. In addition, they also had the opportunity to improve their communication and teamwork abilities, as they were involved in an international work environment which allowed them to understand the dynamics of a different workplace culture and adapt to new challenges.
Beyond professional development, the internship was also an opportunity for cultural enrichment. The students immersed themselves in Italian life, interacting with new people, embracing different perspectives, and gaining confidence in both their personal and professional lives. The experience was transformative, helping them grow as individuals and better preparing them for future challenges in the global job market.
